Research calculator

Dosing calculator

Educational lab-math for concentration, draw volume, and U-100 syringe units from vial mass and solvent volume. Research handling reference only — not medical advice, dosing protocols, or personal-use guidance.

Enter vial mass, solvent (BAC or sterile water) volume, and a target aliquot mass. Returns concentration, draw volume in mL, and U-100 syringe units — forward lab-math from known reconstitution volume.

Common lab dilution examples

Generic examples keyed by vial mass only (10, 20, 50, and 60 mg). These illustrate concentration and U-100 unit arithmetic for laboratory worksheets — not protocols, schedules, or personal-use guidance.

10 mg vial

Illustrative concentration arithmetic when a 10 mg lyophilised vial is reconstituted with common solvent volumes. Educational lab-math only — not a protocol.

20 mg vial

Illustrative concentration arithmetic for a 20 mg lyophilised vial. Solvent volume and target aliquot mass determine draw volume on a U-100 scale.

50 mg vial

Illustrative concentration arithmetic for a 50 mg lyophilised vial. Values are educational examples for stock-solution maths, not handling instructions.

60 mg vial

Illustrative concentration arithmetic for a 60 mg lyophilised vial. Adjust solvent volume in the calculator to match your laboratory worksheet.

Lab-math glossary

mg (milligram)
One thousandth of a gram. Catalogue vial strengths are typically listed in mg of lyophilised peptide mass.
mcg (microgram)
One thousandth of a milligram (1 mg = 1,000 mcg). Aliquot and concentration maths in this tool use mcg for finer resolution.
Syringe units (U-100)
On a U-100 insulin-style syringe, 100 units equal 1 mL. Draw volume in mL × 100 ≈ syringe units marked on the barrel.
IU (international unit)
Activity-based units used for some biologics. Not used for current The Protocol catalogue strengths — this calculator works in mass (mg/mcg) and volume (mL/units) only.
